WHEDco's Childcare Improvement Project (CIP) works to ensure that participant childcare providers are successful in completing a licensing/registration process, building critical business skills and establishing successful home-based childcare businesses.

The Coordinator of CIP Training & Development will manage WHEDco's micro-enterprise business development efforts within the organization's Home-based Childcare Program. Responsible for managing a team of trainers, technical assistance specialists and administrative staff, the Coordinator maintains and build relationships with partners, including government agencies and key stakeholders and, and ensure program outcomes are achieved.

Responsibilities:
?Manage team of six full-time staff ?Monitor and ensure program outcomes are met ?Troubleshoot issues and develop procedural guidelines to ensure program success ?Identify inefficiencies in staff workflow and implement strategies for improvement ?Evaluate program outcomes and create additional programming around client needs ?Establish connections across WHEDco?s departments to best serve clients ?Review and conduct random checks of database to ensure accuracy in donor reports ?Maintain relationships with key donors and stakeholders ?Act as resident expert on government agencies and regulations pertaining to home-based childcare

Qualifications:
?BA required, Masters-level degree desirable ?A minimum of 2 years of experience in micro-enterprise business development experience ?A minimum of 5 years of management experience ?Bilingual (Spanish/English) desirable ?Demonstrated familiarity with early childhood education and child development ?Proven communication skills ?Excellent organizational ability and outstanding attention to detail ?Creative problem-solving skills ?Ability and willingness to interact with a diverse group of people and establish positive and healthy working relationships ?Passion for WHEDco?s mission
